Preservation Treatments has celebrated its 40th birthday in style after being awarded the coveted Contractor of the Year Award from the Property Care Association.
The company, who specialises in wet and dry rot treatment, damp and waterproofing are delighted to have been recognised with the prestigious accolade.
“It is a massive team achievement, which everyone at the company played a part in,” said Managing Director Malcolm Thornton.
“Our Contracts Manager Julie Cassar was singled out for praise from the PCA for the way in which the company had been, and continued to be, run over many years.”
Introduced in 2012, this category was designed to recognise PCA contractor members who excel throughout their normal day-to-day business.
In order to win the award, members are audited in a wide range of areas including complaints handling, health and safety management, site competence and work quality and office administration among others. The winner is the member with the highest overall score after all areas has been judged.
The award is supported by the Property Care Association, a group which carefully vets applicants before awarding membership – ensuring that all members in the damp-proofing and timber preservation sector are audited to the highest standards.
The company represents the UK’s structural repair sector.
