At Preservation Treatments, the safety and well-being of our customers and staff is our highest priority. We know it’s an unsettling situation at the moment and you may have some concerns around coronavirus (Covid-19). We would like to assure you that we are monitoring the situation extremely closely and are following all advice issued by the Government and Public Health England.
Your and our concerns are real and important. We can confirm that our business will continue to remain open so that we are able to continue to provide the high standard of service our customers expect. We intend to continue to do so unless we are advised otherwise. Our hygiene procedures are already strict although we are also following the guidance that has been issued. However, some of what we do will change for the time being, in order to reduce the risk of infection to our customers or, our employees. These include;
• No access to non-employees, to our office unit.
• All employees coming into or leaving the office unit are to use hand sanitizers before entering or leaving the building.
• Our Surveyors and Operatives are all to ensure they have either hand sanitzers, or other means of cleaning their hands which must be used before entering customers premises and will be used once they get back to their vehicles.
• For the foreseeable future, our Surveyors and Operatives will not offer or accept hand-shakes with each other or with customers. This is to help protect them, as well as those they come into contact with.
Please follow the advice from UK Public Health Bodies, which is that you should not book an appointment for one of our Surveyors to attend, if you have recently started to experience the most common symptoms of coronavirus (COVID-19). If you have work scheduled, it is also important you contact our office to advise us if you, or anyone in the property has experienced symptoms, which include:
• new continuous cough
• and/or high temperature.
If you or anyone in your household have these symptoms, however mild, Public Health Bodies are advising that everyone in the household should stay at home and do not leave your house for 14 days from when your symptoms started.
