ISO 9001:2008 is the world’s most popular quality management system standard. The system stipulates how organisations should manage their activities in order to be as efficient as possible. It concentrates on how companies should aim to make sure their customers’ requirements and perceptions are consistently met, while constantly striving to improve customers satisfaction.
ISO 9001:2008 is built around eight management principles which guide and inform. This is largely built on Customer Focus, which enables us to understand current and future customer needs at all levels throughout the company and provide on-going customer satisfaction. We are very proud to say that this objective is followed at all levels by staff at Preservation Treatments.
We hope by achieving ISO9001:2008 accreditation, it will clearly demonstrate to our existing and potential clients that our business is committed to the continual improvements of operations and the service we deliver, ensuring that everyone within the company understands their role in achieving them.
Malcolm Thornton, Managing Director of Preservation Treatments said “We are pleased with our ISO accreditation and would like to congratulate Julie and her team”.
Julie Cassar added “It is great news for the company and we are pleased to announce to our clients that we have robust structures in place continuing to ensure everything is carried out to the highest standard”.

Preservation Treatments will soon begin the process of acquiring the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management, which we hope to achieve within the next 12 months. This will ensure that we are committed to maintaining the best possible service throughout the company, on what is an important system worldwide.
