Tony Francis, CSRT and CSSW Surveyor
How long have you been at Preservation Treatments?
I joined the company in 1995 as a Technician, (That’s 28 years ago!). Within 2 years I had risen through the ranks to Foreman. It was then that I was given the opportunity to move onto Surveying.
What is your background?
I am a fully CSRT and CSSW qualified, Damp-Proofing, Timber infestation and Structural Waterproofing Surveyor but also hold a B-Pec qualification in domestic ventilation systems. My other industry qualifications include: PCA (Property Care Association) Qualified Technician ‘Award Winner’ and NVQ level 3 (diploma) – in Occupational Works Supervision.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I am technically minded, so it gives me great pleasure when I can explain to the client how their issue has occurred, and how it can be correctly rectified.
Do you have any areas of special interest?
Domestic Condensation and Ventilation is my speciality. I am a B-pec DVS-2010 (Domestic Ventilation Systems) qualified specialist. I am also part of the PCA (Property Care Associations) Residential Ventilation Steering Group.
